With influences as varied as Freddie Mercury, Chris Cornell, and Jeff Buckley, absoluteZens vocal melodies soar through every emotion painting pictures beyond what the mere words themselves relay. Pictures that take form atop the tsunami soundscapes and glassy sonic pools of a band lying liquid beneath...totally maleable...ready to splash bold colors, or blend and bleed til subtle hues emerge. The Beatles, STP, Foo Fighters, Chick Corea, Zappa, Thelonius Monk are only a few of the primary colors behind the brush strokes of this musical nirvana.

History:
How did the band come to be, you ask?

absoluteZen was formed in 2002 as 'reaction' to egomaniacal singers Anthony had worked with in the past. "It seemed every singer I'd worked with always thought THEY knew better than the band what the band needed. So I built a band of players that understand none of us is more important than the other...a team...a BAND"
