Formed in 2004, in Minnesota, Divergent Future concerns itself with the dystopic present, and the--inevitable--apocalyptic future. Unwilling--and largely unable--to reside in one musical genre, DF uses a variety of weapons to create its arsenal of sound. With lyrical content ranging from science fiction to political and sociological rants, Divergent Future strives to present a unique interpretation of the past, present and future. While largely guitar and synthesizer driven, DF is always looking for new and exciting ways to create, manipulate, and propagate sound. While hard rock is Divergent Future's homeland, we often venture into the realm of Electronic, Techno, Industrial, and SFock.
