Original tunes by a songwriter in Canada - guitar-driven rock music with an "alternative" edge - whatever that means these days! I like to think of some of it as "power pop", and I've had others point to influences such as Bob Dylan and George Harrison. I was also told that some of my music is "mushroom" influenced! Hmmm....

Its been said that I have a knack for melody, and for writing "catchy" songs. My music is driven by guitar, and is the culmination of many years listening to and playing new wave and punk music back in the day. Throw in a healthy dose of alt. country, and you're approaching what might be defined as "my sound". I think maybe my current gig as a bassist in a contemporary church choir may be influencing me as well!
