After a much-needed break from the exhilarating, yet at times heady & exasperating life as a heavy-metal gunslinger (circa 1982-1995) Robert Mirabilio began to feel the unmistakable tug of the musician’s jones.
He started writing music again at a prolific, almost furious pace. Robert and TYRANNY have returned with capricious desire to reclaim what is their one true calling in life, that of a musical mad poet & pied piper debauchery with his maniacal minstrals at his side. "Musical expression is the purest form of freedom I’ve ever known" says Robert. "It’s a cathartic and mutual smorgasbord of emotional indulgence between the band and the audience.
We engage an interactive give & take release not found through any other type of entertainment. I gave in to the seductive siren’s call and come back like punch drunk pugilist who knows no other path; yet still possesses an insatiable burning desire to beat the **** out of Apollo Creed again and paint my masterpiece."
