symphony of thunder has been on the back burner of dave durham's to do list for 15 years or so.dave has played with numerous bands and recording projects over the years and is also on "SONG PLANET" with the band "NOYZE".the music here is a blend of old school drums mixed in with todays digital sounds.symphony of thunder is performed live using a looper that is programmed on the spot ,no pre recorded stuff here ,all tracks on the cd are played ,not programmed. Dave is involved with charity through the Make a Wish Foundation as well as contributing time playing at Vineyard Christian Fellowship of North Phoenix on saturday nites. Dave anticipates the CD release of Symphony of Thunder sometime in September. Many songs are currently available on SongPlanet, Rhapsody, iTunes, e-music among at least 17 other vendors. Dave has been playing drums since before man landed on the moon. He plays and collects various hand percussion intruments from around the world. He is currently studying Tabla as well as log drum, talking drum, and tympani.
