Deejay WaR has a long history of music in his background. He started playing the trumpet in 5th grade in band and continued until he graduated from high school. Along the way he picked up the french horn, bass guitar and guitar.
WaR joined a punk band in 1997 called "We're Not All There," which played and toured until 2001. He also started programming electronic music in 1999 leading to the creation of his name.
In 2002, WaR got his first gig as an Internet DJ with the station Digital Evolution Radio which eventually shut down in 2004. He did a couple internet gigs between then and now but nothing hopeful.
He bought his first music CD in 1994 before he even had a cd player. He's been hooked on music since then. He now owns over 400 CDs and has had the opportunity to DJ several college dances. He loves writing electronic music and looks forward to being able to do a live mix show some day.
