Adrian is 15 years old and has grown up on ranches working with cattle and horses. She enjoys roping, starting colts and life on the ranch. Her music reflects that relationship to the land and has an authenticity that comes through immediately to the listener. Two of Adrian's strongest qualities are her lyrics and vocal quality. In concert, Adrian builds excitement with the crowd by keeping them actively engaged with her stories and songs.
Adrian’s music is not easily contained by any one genre, but has been influenced by such diverse musical styles as Irish, folk, blues and western music. Her lyrics are solid, mature and accessible while the music is contagious and satisfying.
Adrian’s recently released CD, Highway 80, utilizes first rate studio musicians coupled with top production quality to give the listener the world class product they should expect. The project was recorded at Bridge Studio by Shannon Davidson and easily exceeds even the highest industry standards. During live performances, Adrian plays the acoustic guitar as she delivers her powerful vocals.
Adrian has played for private parties, rodeos, cowboy festivals, live TV, coffee houses and concerts of up to a thousand people in several states. Recently she played with Grammy winner, Ramblin’ Jack Elliot at the famous Freight and Salvage in Berkley, California. Adrian is playing at the 2008, National Cowboy Poetry and Music Festival in Elko Nevada.
If you are in Elko during the Gathering--there will be a CD release party at Stockman's Casino on February 1, 2008 at 5pm. I will also be jamming at Stockman's nightly-come by and say hello!
